Welcome
Welcome to Lex & Lumina – A Place for Honest Questions and Biblical Answers
Have you ever wrestled with a theological question and struggled to find a clear, biblical answer? You’re not alone. At Lex & Lumina, we believe that faith isn’t afraid of questions—it grows through them.
Our name, Lex & Lumina, comes from Latin: Lex means “Word” or “Law,” and Lumina means “Light.” Together, they represent the power of God’s Word (Lex) to illuminate truth (Lumina). Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” This blog exists to shine that light on difficult theological questions, helping believers navigate faith with clarity and conviction.
Whether you’re a lifelong Christian, a seeker, or someone passionate about theology, our goal is to provide well-reasoned, biblically grounded responses to the tough questions of faith. From doctrinal debates to everyday Christian living, we approach each topic with a commitment to truth, historical insight, and a love for God’s Word.
Have a question? Let’s search for the answer together.
Start exploring, ask boldly, and let’s dive deep into God’s truth!
About the Author – Travis Rosenthal
I’m Travis Rosenthal, and my journey has been anything but easy. I grew up in the depths of poverty, abuse, and addiction, trapped in a life that felt hopeless. But in the midst of the darkness, God found me. He pulled me out of the pit and into His glorious light, redeeming my past and giving me a new purpose. Now, my passion is to seek truth, wrestle with the tough questions of faith, and help others find the clarity and hope that only God’s Word can provide. Lex & Lumina is more than just a blog—it’s a reflection of the transformation that happens when God’s truth illuminates even the darkest places.
My greatest passion is to bring together the truth of God’s word with the power of the Spirit. In doing this we aren’t just biblically sound, but also equipped to fulfill the great commission. In this blog I’ll answer questions, talk about theology, discuss Gifts of the Spirit, and give practical insights to see these truths in action. I hope you will join me on this journey.
